Submissions for Volume 27 are open.

Submissions are open to students, staff, and community members with a connection to the Lower Columbia region; please include a brief 1–4 sentence bio describing your connection. Student editors enrolled in Arts Magazine Publication may not submit work while serving on editorial selection committees.

Selection timelines are fall for literary arts, winter for visual arts, and spring for performance arts.

 

Before submitting, please review the Call for Submissions on Submittable for category-specific requirements, file specifications, artwork dimensions, and submission limits.

Fountain Pen Writing

Literary Art

Submit up to five poems and two prose pieces: may include short fiction, short creative non-fiction, or graphic narratives (comics). Though we do not have a word count limit, shorter works are preferred.

Visual Art

Submit up to five pieces of visual art suitable for print reproduction. We cannot accept one-of-a-kind originals; please submit high-resolution .JPG, .PNG, or .TIFF files at a minimum of 300 dpi and 6.5 × 6.5 inches.

Studio Microphone Setup

Podcast & Performance Art

Podcasts: Up to three pieces may be submitted. Please aim for no longer than 20 minutes per submission. Please send quality audio (.mp3) or video files (.avi, .mp4, .mov, .wmv)

Performances: Up to three pieces may be submitted. Please aim for no longer than 10 minutes. Please submit quality audio (.mp3) or video files (.avi, .mp4, .mov, .wmv).
