In Me is Hate

Ryker M.
When I confessed I could only love you,
Did you realize then, who I meant to exclude? There is no part of me
That I can find in you

I can’t bring myself to say it
But it’s written on my face
My love is more like worship
And myself is filled with hate

Hoping you were like me
Was my gravest mistake
For all my rottenness
Turned out self-contained
